Init Blog

First post

Welcome to the first blog post. Like most side projects, this one has taken longer to start than I care to admit, but here we are.

I’ve been in tech for over ten years now, and lately I’ve been thinking about the things I’ve picked up along the way, although mostly by stumbling through it. Either way, I wanted a place where I could write some of that down. Mainly because writing helps me stay curious, and reflect on what I’ve learned.

This blog doesn’t have a strict purpose yet. But the idea is to share things that I’m learning, building, or breaking. I’ll also likely write about mistakes I’ve made deploying things or rant about things I’m frustrated with. The goal is to share them here, instead of letting them get buried in random Slack threads.

One of the first projects I’ll be writing about is a self-hosted password manager that I’m building to move my credentials off shared services. It’s still early, but it’s been a fun excuse to learn about new things.

I’m also hoping that having a public space like this gives me more motivation to actually finish projects, before I get distracted and chase the next idea.

If you stumbled upon this page hoping for consistency, I respect your optimism.

But if you’re also into tech experiments, unfinished ideas, and the occasional deep dive into cloud computing or whatever rabbit hole I’ve fallen into… stick around.

Here’s to whatever this becomes.
